Like how to be inappropriately affectionate?

[That is an adorable pompom burrito. And he loves being kissed. This day is pretty good, despite the coffee disaster.]

[Pearl Burrito is nestled snugly in Hawke's arms and the towel is soaking up the damp, she can hang for a few while Hawke takes care of his and Anders' needs.]

[If they take too long she is totally going to try to get in on this and start licking their chins.]

[Yeah they'll want to avoid puppies trying to get in on this, that's just gross. Also, Anders would like more than just kisses, since Hawke teased him before. So breaking that kiss now.]

[It's not like he's mysterious or hard to please or anything. Excuse him, he's going to start toweling the pompom burrito dry, now.]

[He'll stay in the bathroom for a few minutes to finish toweling Pearl dry. She enjoys the attention immensely, and manages to sneak in a few face licks besides.]

[He's about finished with Pearl's rubdown, and he holds her up with her little smiling face towards Anders, an absolutely disgusting display of enamored dog owner and button-eyed puff-ball.]

[He's not fooled! Also, setting Pearl down now, she's dry enough.]

[And Pearl runs straight for him, of course. He sighs.]

[She has to show him there's no hard feelings! Also that she loves him!!

And Hawke just smiles happily at the way Anders is talking to the puppy. He's definitely grown fond of her.]

Pearl, bed!

[That's one of the first things he taught her, and she learned it quickly and well. With a parting, loving huff at Anders, she scampers to obey, disappearing into their room where her cozy, blanket-lined box is tucked securely into a corner.]

Now let's get you out of those smallclothes.

[She'll probably be joined by the cats soon. The cats always seem to want to cuddle Pearl when she sleeps, and it's adorable.

Anders, though, will smirk right back at Hawke.]
